2023 INFINITI QX60 Named Top Safety Pick for 2023
The 2023 INFINITI QX60 is the latest INFINITI to be named as a Top Safety Pick+ by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). The QX60 maintains this rating from previous years even as IIHS increased requirements for the award.
Requirements for the Award
IIHS changed its rating criteria for the 2023 year. A nighttime vehicle-to-pedestrian front crash prevention test was added to improve protection for pedestrians passing in front of vehicles at night. IIHS also updated its side-impact test and made a new requirement that headlights rated as either acceptable or good must be standard on the model to win the award.
Fewer vehicles reach the award status due to the changes in requirements. This makes INFINITI even prouder of the accomplishment for the QX60.
