Under The Hood
All models of the Q50 are featured with a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 and are paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard in all models as well, while all-wheel drive is optional. This V-6 engine comes in two powers, a standard 300 horsepower with 295 lb-ft of torque, and the performance style Red Sport 400 which produces 400 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. There is a little difference in fuel economy between the basic tune, and Red Sport 400. The basic tune is rated at 20/29 mpg city/ highway for RWD and 19/27 mpg city/highway for AWD. Fuel economy for the Red Sport is rated at 20/26 mpg city/highway for RWD and 19/26 mpg city/highway AWD.

The IIHS provided the Q50 with the highest Good score in all four crashworthiness tests, while the NHTSA gave it a five-star rating for rollover protection. Every model of the 2022 Q50 gets standard safety features like six airbags throughout the car: curtain airbags, side-impact, and dual frontal. Other features include rain-sensing wipers, traction control, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Interior Features and Space
This sporty sedan can seat up to five comfortably with above-average amounts of legroom. Legroom for front passengers is measured at 44.5 inches, while rear-seat passengers get 35.1 inches of legroom. The driver has received lots of added comfort with an eight-way power seat. Cargo space inside the Q50 is rated at 13.5 cubic feet inside the trunk, with more room added when the 60/40 split-fold seats are folded down. Drivers have a choice of Graphite or Stone leather, for the upholstery, with Textured Aluminum trim, while the Sensory trim comes in only leather and the trim is finished in Black Open Pore wood.
Never miss a beat with the 2022 Q50’s dual-touchscreen infotainment display system. The upper 8.0-inch display can be used for media and connectivity, while the lower 7.0-inch display manages climate controls and other vehicle controls. New for 2022, is wireless Apple CarPlay and a 16-speaker Bose premium audio system that is included on all trims.
