A new mid-size luxury sedan from Infiniti debuts this year. The 2011 M37 replaces the M35 in Infiniti’s luxury sedan lineup, and is aimed to compete directly with European rivals. Priced lower compared to similarly outfitted European competition, the Infiniti M37 has a base under $50,000 that includes a long list of impressive standard features.The M37 is available in a rear wheel drive, or in the M37x version which adds all wheel drive. The power plant is an impressive 3.7 liter DOHC 24-valve V6 that outputs 330 horse power and 270 pound feet of torque. The transmission is a high-tech seven speed automatic with manual paddles and four shift modes (Snow, Eco, Standard, and Sport). Naturally, Eco provides the best economy and Sport maximum fun.
The key words describing the looks of the all new M37 are “aggressive” and “sleek.” The large, hungry looking front grill and prominent flaring fenders give it the appearance that it is ready to eat a BMW 5 series for lunch.
